Privacy Policy

Last updated: [add date before publishing]

Before you publish this: this is a starter template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before you're collecting real user data — especially if you ever expand outside Florida, since privacy laws vary meaningfully by state and country. Replace every bracketed [placeholder] below.

1. What we collect

When you use Sirvx, we may collect:

2. How we use it

We use this information to operate the directory: showing relevant businesses near a resident's location, letting business owners manage their own listing, and sending sign-in links to business owner accounts. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Where data is stored

Sirvx uses Supabase (a third-party database and authentication provider) to store account and listing data, and to send sign-in emails. Photos are stored using Supabase's file storage. [If you add Stripe: payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.]

4. Location data

If you use the "Use my location" feature, your device's location is used only to sort search results by distance and is not stored on our servers beyond your current session.

5. Cookies and local storage

Sirvx uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your saved/favorited businesses and any custom categories you've added, so these persist between visits on the same device.

6. Your choices

Business owners can update or remove their listing information at any time by signing in to "My Business." To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at [your contact email].

7. Children's privacy

Sirvx is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to [your contact email].
